Course Overview
This programme provides practical knowledge and structured guidance on managing engineering claims, dispute resolution procedures, and arbitration processes within FIDIC-based contracts. Delegates will explore key FIDIC clauses relating to claims submission, notices, entitlement, variations, extensions of time, and determination. The course emphasizes documentation, evidence, communication protocols, and the role of the Engineer in administering claims.
Participants will also examine dispute-avoidance techniques, dispute adjudication/DAAB processes, and escalation to arbitration under recognized international standards. The programme is designed to improve contractual awareness, reduce project conflict, and support compliant resolution of commercial and technical disputes on engineering and infrastructure projects.
