SADI 470 Management of Smallholder Agricultural Projects
This course focuses on the management practices necessary to develop, implement, and sustain smallholder agricultural projects aimed at improving food security, income generation, and rural development. It explores the unique challenges and opportunities faced by smallholder farmers, including limited access to capital, technology, markets, and infrastructure. The course emphasizes sustainable agricultural practices, project planning, and resource management to increase productivity and ensure the long-term viability of smallholder agricultural initiatives. Students will learn how to design and manage agricultural projects that empower smallholder farmers, promote environmental sustainability, and enhance community resilience.
